BANT MEMBERBERSHIP ENTRY CRITERIA FROM JUNE 2011
The external regulation of nutritional therapy practitioners has now been transferred to the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC): www.cnhc.org.uk.
Currently anyone wishing to apply for BANT membership should be guided by the pdf document set out below.

MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION FORMS
Please use one of the following application forms if you have a qualification or are enrolled on a BANT recognised course.
FULL MEMBERSHIP
STUDENT TO FULL MEMBERSHIP
ASSOCIATE TO FULL MEMBERSHIP
FULL NON-PRACTISING MEMBERSHIP
STUDENT TO FULL NON-PRACTISING MEMBERSHIP
STUDENT MEMBERSHIP
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP (A)If you have trained elsewhere, have professional indemnity insurance to practice and are registered with the CNHC or HPC or UKVRN, then you will need to make an application for ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP (A) of BANT in order to complete and APL/APEL assessment.
NON-BANT MEMBER CNHC REGISTRATION - ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP (B)If you have been in practice for a minimum of 3 years and you have trained elsewhere and are NOT registered with the CNHC or HPC or UKVRN, you will then need to apply for registration with the CNHC using the EXTERNAL FULL PORTFOLIO ASSESSMENT before you can apply for ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP (B) of BANT.
